April 5th marks the point at which there will be precisely one tzolkin cycle of 260 days left in the thirteen baktun cycle of 1,872,000 days, or approximately 5,125 years, that ends on December 21st 2012.

This will be the final spin in a series of 7200 spins that began on August 11th, 3114 BC. In the Classic count, or Long Count, the tzolkin date will be 4 Ahau, the same as December 21st of this year, meaning that April 5th will share the same energy as this final day of this great cycle. The prophetic tradition of the Maya uses the energies of the Ahau days that fall on the end-dates of each cycle to determine the characteristics of the time period. This means that April 5th should give us a unique insight into the energy of the day that will end the great cycle.

According to the work of Jose Arguelles, the whole of the 5,125-year cycle of 7200 tzolkin rounds,  can be seen as a giant tzolkin onto which all the events of history can be projected as a narrative that concludes on December 21st 2012 . If this is so, we are about to enter the last micro-fractal- or chapter- of this sequence, in which all the events of the last 13 baktuns will be recapitulated in minature. This very last 260 day cycle is a fractal hologram that encodes the whole. Entering into this time consciously, and being able to remember and follow this sequence, potentially strengthens our ability to comprehend, tune into and appreciate the significance of the much-debated calendar end-date of December 21st. By following the tzolkin we are able to tune into the frequency pattern of the 260-day rhythm that is the master co-ordinating cycle for all of the Mayan calendrical science, so April 5th represents a unique and potent experiential opportunity.

On April 5th, in Jose Arguelles’s ‘Dreamspell’ calendar- his contemporary reintrepretation of the Mayan tzolkin- the signature of the day is Blue Crystal Hand, Kin 207, which will also be the same on December 21st. Much has been made of the differences between this modern calendar and the traditional count, but being just 260 days away from the end of the cycle and having both counts on the same frequency that they will be when it ends, provides a unique opportunity for reconciliation and a demonstration of unity between the two.

April 5th, 12.19.19.5.0 in the Long Count, 4 Ahau in the traditional, and Blue Crystal Hand in the Dreamspell can be seen as a ‘Calendar Convergence Day’. A day when diverse traditions that are following essentially the same rhythm can become entrained with each other for the benefit of the planetary whole. A day when those following the Dreamspell can learn more about the traditional cycles and when the traditionalists can align with the greater cycles encoded by the Classic Mayan culture. These calendars are both tools for increasing awareness and sharing that heightened awareness and appreciation of time is the most important thing we can for others. To many people, December 21st only means the ‘end of the world’, rather than the convergence point of a great cycle, so the details of different counts are lost. It is time to go beyond the confusion and all of the superficial differences and into the essential underlying unity. There are just 260 days left, enough days to raise significant awareness, but not enough to be wasted in petty argument and disagreement.

Significant anniversaries like April 5th, that most certainly would have been marked by the Classic Mayan culture, have often been missed by those who are interested in and using the tzolkin. This happens in the traditional count, because living knowledge of the longer cycles has long been obscured and it happens in the new Dreamspell system, because many of those using it, are unaware of the different count.

Let’s take the opportunity on this day to re-member, to bring together the traditions and to put aside the differences.

We need to do this not only to demonstrate the essential underlying unity of all calendars based on the tzolkin, but for the purpose of learning from each other and preparing for  the possibility of a moment of global unity on December 21st.  Let’s converge!

Maya New Year or 8 Chuen – Time To Manifest Your Dreams

 

Today is the 27^th of March 2012 and also the first day of the 260 day Tzolkin count, the most sacred calendar system of the Maya people. Contrary to popular perception the Tzolkin does not begin on 1-Imox (Yucatatec Mayan Imix), as the historically unbroken Tzolkin count of the Quiche Maya peoples of the Guatemalan highlands actually starts on 8-Batz (Yucatec Mayan Chuen).

This is a day that is associated with weaving and fabric. Just as we weave a fabric from threads, so to is the body woven of flesh in the womb in its sacred creative matrix, and temporal reality too is like a great cloth woven of all our many threads. The start of a Tzolkin is a time for using the law of attraction principle, thanking the universe for the many things we have and know are coming too us. This can be anything from happiness to money as one prefers. It is especially powerful energetically if we are seeking to weave a tighter family unit and improve the way we relate to our loved ones.

In spiritual ceremony the Maya would use this day for rituals aimed at the Heart of the Heavens and the Heart of the Earth, asking for assistance with life, love, family, money and especially balance to family life in all aspects. My suggestion would be to do the same.

8-Batz is also a day for initiation, especially any initiation involving a shamanic tradition. It may not be possible for you to find an authentic way to do this, at least not today, but you can still perform a ritual of your own making or perhaps visit a healer to receive an energetic boost or cleansing so as to start the new 260 day cycle at optimal vibration within yourself.

Daniella and I were fortunate enough to attend a traditional plant medicine healing ceremony today, actually we were unaware it was 8-Batz today. Our lives are rather like that, we just know to do something and then find out why later. Actually I started my day with a cleansing shower using a blessed soap, followed by Kundalini Yoga, Sacred Oil Chakra alignment and then Reiki healing (kindly directed by Daniella). In the afternoon we went for a ritual cleansing with one of the local native Indian herbalist healing ladies that we work with as there had been some negative vibes aimed at us that we wanted to clear. The session involves being whipped with bunches of different special herbs and flowers which can absorb through direct transfer all of the negative energies of the participant (some shaman use animals for this), followed by all over body rubbing with a variety of stinging nettle and an egg (ouch) and then blessed alcohol being blown from the healers mouth onto your body. Its probably fair to say its not as pleasant as a Reiki session but it is a more intensive cleaning of the energy body, a different aim one might say.

I must admit to being quite pleasantly surprised to later discover it was 8-Batz Tzolkin new year and that we had accidentally been working with the exact flavour of that energy. It is good to see we are keeping in tune. That said from today we will both be very much consciously working with each days energy of the Tzolkin until 21/12/2012. Just to be clear though, the next 8-Batz actually falls on 12/12/12, so we are talking about the last full traditional count, not the last 260 days until 21-12-2012. It is however extremely interesting that from 12/12/12 until 21/12/12 is exactly 9 days, a number of great importance to all cultures, especially relevant to the Mayan 2012 prophecy that 9 underworld gods will return at the end of the Long Count, each being associated with a day.

What the first 9 days of the next Tzolkin, or final 9 days of the Bak'tun, will bring is indeed a tantalising thought.

 It is generally considered a fact of science that we can't predict earthquakes, and its not for the lack of trying. The best prediction of earthquakes is probably fairly given to psychics, though sceptics would say that even there accurate predictions are just lucky guesses.

So when an Earthquake seem to have been predicted not only once, but twice, it is something worth examining. The Mexico earthquake of 20-03-2012 (Spring Equinox) seem to of been just such an unlikely case.

For some time now a theory has been doing the rounds of alternative media websites, in which there is a 188 day long cycle of major seismic activity, actually its just a bit over that length but anyway. The basic premise is that if we look at the last couple of years we find that every 188 days (approx) we have quakes of either 7.0+ or a 8.0+ (with Earth axis shift) depending on whether we are on the upside of the cycle or downside, in reference to our position in our orbit of the sun and relationship to an unseen massive object. We can see this pattern below.

Of course the idea of a unseen large body out there somewhere is by no means new. From ancient texts and prophets visions too NASA probes, the hunt for a mysterious planet-X or Nemesis has been going on for decades. As a former board administrator for www.planetxforecast.com I am quite familiar with both sides of the heated debate on whether such a body exists. For my part I have always been sceptical of such a body coming in to the inner solar system for 2012, largely due to the fact we should detect it long before it arrived, I do however suspect such an object is out beyond our solar system, probably a brown dwarf star shrouded by a dust cloud, thus making it only detectable by its influence on asteroids and comets, or by a lucky observation with an infra-red telescope that both detected it and showed it was moving in such a way as to suggest it was in an orbit pattern with Sol.

If however the 188 day cycle were proven correct I would be first to admit it was time for sceptics to take the humble pie out of the oven and start serving it up. It is difficult to see how anything but a cosmic body in some kind or relationship with us could cause a 188 day cycle involving an effect on our planet as tangible as seismic activity, it would also need to be of a great mass or otherwise generating a significant electromagnetic effect (such as we might call strong gravity), based on our new understanding of the electric universe theory in which it is strong electrical forces that govern universal dynamics not the weak sub-force we call gravity. As mentioned predicting earthquakes is not possible by conventional understanding, so to say there will be a 7+ every 188 days and be correct is itself incredible.

Well on the 20^th of March 2012 a 7.6 Earthquake struck Oaxaca, Mexico. This was of course just two days prior to the prediction, close enough to call a hit, and big enough to be valid though not the 8.0+ being predicted. Proponents of the cycle theory understandably felt they had been validated. Lets remember also that another larger quake could still hit on the 22^nd. For the moment though, either way, this now needs to be very seriously examined. If there is a massive object inbound we need to know about it. Also lets not forget the bizarre solar phenomenon of the last week, including an enormous plasma ball and a giant triangular hole, could these also be effects of the mysterious object?

What though of my claim the Mexico earthquake was predicted twice?

Well for those of you that do not speak Spanish, the flyer at the top of this page is actually for an Earthquake drill organised by the regional Mexican governors of Chiapas state, incredibly they selected 12 noon for the drill, the actual quake hit two minutes off this and thus a huge number of people were on the earthquake drill when the real one hit, what is more the drill was for a 7.9. the first reports (including USGS) were that the real quake was a 7.9, though it was later downgraded to a 7.6. Quite understandably a large number of people are asking how the heck this can all happen by coincidence, especially in light of past extremely fish 'coincidences' such as the 7/7 London Underground bombing drill with all the same station involved, or the 9-11 air security drill that was happening on 9-11 and involving theoretical planes trying to crash into the World Trade Centre. Folks are getting sick of coincidences that just do not seem possible and are certainly not easy to believe. I am not surprised to hear accusations that this quake was artificial in some way, whether caused by HAARP or by a nuclear device, or even aliens for that matter, with someone then warning the Mexican government to run a drill that would get people out of buildings. One thing we do know is this makes an already weird event, super crazy!

On a final note followers of this blog will know that I predicted a major earthquake for late March, this is not based on the 188 day earthquake cycle. Clearly this Mexican earthquake was a major seismic event and in late March, thus I have already been proven correct, or rather my source has proven himself to me yet again. My source is what you might call supernatural, actually its hard to say what my source is exactly, uber weird is one description, I will in time explain. That said myself and Daniella do not feel this is the climax of what we were presented with, rather this is the start of a larger happening. It could be that the larger happening actually is the same thing as the March 22^nd predicted event with its 188 day cycle connection and links to a possible incoming object, I cant say either way as that was not what we were given. In good conscious though I cant sit back and smugly say that we told you so, rather I am going to risk this 'credit in the bank' on the bet that we see more large events in the next week, likely much more world impacting. Truthfully I would prefer the ridicule of being wrong about this, rather than have the accolades of being correct about something devastating. All we can do now is wait and see, and hope that folks are prepared. As for locations all I can say is both Japan and California are jumping out at me at this point.

Plasma Tubes Connect Dark Spherical Body Too Our Sun

Whilst the web has been buzzing with expectation of several potential big events for March including a mega-earthquake, another war, and several other possibles, out in space an incredible event has been silently brewing at the centre of our solar system. Something very weird has been happening to our Sun.

I say silently brewing, but actually in the last four days whilst this phenomenon was under-way we have been somewhat distracted away from it due to our focus being drawn to several major solar flares and coronal mass ejections, including three X-class flares and two M-class flares. This activity in itself has been quite astonishing.

The real show however can be seen by going to the SOHO website and running the dates 08-03-2012 to 12-03-2012 into the various camera feeds available. The best for this purpose is EIT-171, though I suggest you run the dates on all feeds. Just what exactly it is that has been discovered by two Youtube channel hosts 'Sunsflare' and 'MrMBB333' remains to be concluded, however what we see with our eyes is enough to be mind blowing. The pictures below with embedded links to original sources show us several compelling details. Then the video from Sunsflare gives us an increased level of clarity of the 'object'.

This first image shows us that what appears to be an enormous black sphere is connected to the Sun by a number of plasma tubes. If you go through the different video source option over at SOHO you find that this 'plasma object' is there from at least 09-03-12 and seemingly comes around from the other side of the sun. There are at least 4 plasma tubes 'feeding' it on 10-03-12, which makes sense as plasma tubes tend to manifest in pairs, then we find that the tubes seem to merge into just one on 11-03-12 though this may just be our viewing angle.

Then on 12-03-2012 an enormous energy event, seemingly a massive CME, blasts out from that precise region we are monitoring, and the object and tube both vanish from the location. Whatever it is, it then 'seems' to have been thrown away from the sun as part of the stellar eruption, appearing as the white mass with twisting tendrils shooting out before it. Note too the loop of energy ahead of it rather like some kind of stargate vortex opening. The SOHO EIT304 has another image of the eruption.

To add to the mystery we can see that the current image for the position of sunspots shows nothing in the area from which the CME type event occurs, extremely peculiar. This makes no sense at all, we should be looking at a huge sunspot here to produce a CME of this enormous and massive nature. If indeed it even is a CME as we understand them.

 

Following on from the events of the 11^th and 12^th we have been blind-sided by yet another bizarre solar happening. This time we are seeing an enormous pyramidal coronal hole covering much of the surface of our sun. We are informed by www.spaceweather.com that wind pouring out from this region will hit our planet around the 17^th. What they do not mention is the sheer weirdness of the phenomena itself.

One big question this raises is, just how much bigger would we need a coronal hole to grow before it brought about the enfolding of the Mayan prophecy regarding 3 days of solar darkness?

Something else that we need to make note of is the deafening silence from mainstream media and even mainstream astrology media such as spaceweather.com regarding the Jupiter sized sphere that emerged from the solar disk on the 12^th and the ensuing M-class eruption that followed it. We can categorically say they have ignored this now, as today we had a report of a M-Class flare from sunspot 1429 dated 13/03/12, thus making it clear no report was to be made of the one we have all seen the images for here that occurred on the 12^th!

 

In recent psychic contacts myself and my partner were informed that March would show some enormous events which would be capable of waking the world up to the fact something is indeed shifting in our reality. We were also informed that there was a strong chance of a large natural catastrophe such as a quake or volcano in the same month, and that by some time in April an alien vessel would make contact with our planet, under false pretences. Seeing this major March event has given me more courage to have faith in the information source!
